A gentleman, in Louis XIII costume of silver gray with yellow sash, has returned from shooting and is taking the collar off from one of his dogs. He is seated beside a table in a dining hall with stone chimney piece and his wife, in pale blue and lilac gown is bringing him a glass of wine.
